In today's day and age it is important to look out for yourself and find ways to improve yourself. To live a life full of peace, love and greatness, it is important to pour into yourself. To take care of your mind and spirit. It takes time to fully develop the life you want to pursue so be patient. Hello Maria! I've read your article and I heavily relate to wanting to live a life of peace. I've recently decided to make a life changing decision to join the US Navy and learn how nuclear science works and try to go forward trying to make a more energy efficient and less dangerous nuclear power plant in the future if at all possible. It may be dangerous, but being able to see the world at it's most dangerous allows you to appreciate peace more. I started to appreciate peace once I decided to let my anger and self-loathing go and to stop channeling my anger into fighting an imaginary enemy. I prioritize myself nowadays and take my mental and physical health much more serious.

I personally have always taken pride in the fact that I prioritize my peace and wellbeing. One thing that I would love to add to my day to day routine is more meditation. I have plenty of experience with it, and always enjoy it, but sometimes I find myself not taking the time to just slow down and actually do it.

It is also important to go out side take in the environment around us. Organizing your life is great advice. It is beneficial to have aplan for your life it minimizes stress and presents a path of peace.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that you said that I have been attempting to accomplish in my own life is waking up earlier. On the mornings I have been successful, I have felt much more productive in my day - as I haven't had the constant urge to rush which then creates more anxiety than average for myself. A life of peace is something I am continuously striving for and I can't agree more that it is truly mind over matter. Prioritizing time to do what makes you comfortable and at ease in a hectic world is so important.

I am very at peace right now I would love to take more time to myself but right now I just don't have the time. I honestly could use a lot of self improvement just don't know where to start. I'm hoping me taking a break from school this summer will take a lot of stress off of me but we will see. Thank you for sharing your story.

ReplyDeleteMaria, you did an excellent job. Reading everyone's blogs has given me so many tips and tricks on how to improve my lifestyle. This is because one day I found myself worrying and stressing, and I just got sick of it! I realized I wanted to live a life of peace. I like how your blog focused on adding new features to your life and trying new things to bring happiness. Recently, I have added exercise and journaling to my life and they do help! I am a living testimony. Additionally, while it is easy to feel guilty about it, I was appreciative of how your article inspires us to take time to focus on ourselves in order to help us be kinder and better to other people.
